Welcome to my little art corner outside of medicine. For me, art has always been therapeutic, a way to slow down, reset, and make something with my hands.

After a long day, I often find myself turning to art. When moving all of my traditional art supplies became impractical, I somehow found my way to a new medium: citrus rinds.

So after rotations, studying, or just a long day in general, you might find me with a paring knife, trying different types of citrus, and carving or painting the rinds into small sculptures. It started as a creative outlet, but it has become one of my favorite ways to relax, experiment, and make something a little unexpected.

In my free time, I enjoy yoga, painting, citrus sculpting, biking, and spending time with my family, including my two furballs.
